Bokskogen golf klubb<br />
Bokskogen <strong>Golf</strong> Club has been founded in 1963 and<br />
today boasts two challenging 18-hole golf courses <strong>of</strong><br />
great natural beauty on ancient terrain from the 18th<br />
century. Around the lovely and varied grounds <strong>of</strong> Torup<br />
and Skabersjö Castles the management has taken great<br />
care in creating a challenging golf environment meeting<br />
the highest demands for every true golfer. The two<br />
courses are closely connected to the lake Yddingen,<br />
<strong>of</strong>fering a wonderful view <strong>of</strong> the surroundings.<br />
The Old Course, with its generous fairways, water hazards<br />
and large immaculate putting surfaces, challenges<br />
club players and pr<strong>of</strong>essionals alike. The Old Course has<br />
six 6 different course lengths to choose from, the back<br />
tees counting up to a full 6.500 meters and par 71! The<br />
shorter Kings Course may not be as challenging as the<br />
Old Course but <strong>of</strong>fers a different test: Slightly narrower<br />
fairways and smaller greens put a focus on the accuracy<br />
<strong>of</strong> the player’s short game while the great surroundings<br />
and scenic views soothe the eye. In the middle <strong>of</strong> the<br />
two beautifully sculpted courses, the club features a<br />
6-hole children’s course and a 4-hole practice course.<br />
Bokskogen <strong>Golf</strong> Club has for many years been ranked<br />
as one <strong>of</strong> the best golf courses in Sweden and the Old<br />
Course has seen many tournaments. It has hosted the<br />
European Tour 4 times as well as <strong>World</strong> and European<br />
Championships. Besides having staged the Nordic Tour<br />
several times, Bokskogen has also been host to the<br />
Annika Invitational Europe in 2016.The Old Course therefore<br />
has indeed proved a challenge for many wellknown<br />
European and US Tour players. Also, the club has<br />
a well-known junior programme and has brought up 5<br />
European Tour players through the years, famous Peter<br />
Hanson amongst them with two Ryder Cups and 6<br />
European Tour wins.<br />
<strong>Golf</strong> as a sport definitely is a priority at Bokskogen.Located<br />
in the beautiful clubhouse overlooking the famous<br />
10th hole at the Old Course, the restaurant ‘Maderiet at<br />
Bokskogen’ is well known for its cuisine and have won<br />
best golf restaurant in Southern Sweden. As for golf-relevant<br />
services, the club also has 3 PGA Pr<strong>of</strong>essionals, a<br />
Titleist driving range and a fully stocked Pro Shop.<br />
