SPARK TIME<br />

The Y’s SPARK TIME extended camp program provides<br />

before and after camp care full of activities designed<br />

to keep them safe, active and having fun! Included with<br />

your camp fee.<br />

SWIMMING<br />

<strong>Camp</strong>ers enjoy a recreational swim period each day<br />

(except some field trip days), weather permitting. Trained<br />

Y lifeguards conduct swim tests for all campers prior<br />

to swimming each Monday. Traditional day camp also<br />

includes one swim lesson a day for ages 3-10. The<br />

<strong>YMCA</strong>'s focus is on keeping all our campers safe.<br />

Weekly, May 29-August 17 (no camp July 4)<br />

For campers who need an extra hour after morning camp<br />

or before afternoon camp begins. Children ages 3-6<br />

management skills and acquire experince working with children of<br />

different ages. Applicants must schedule a brief interview. This program is<br />

highly selective! Successful completion may lead to a counselor position<br />

Superhero Training June 25-July 6<br />

Stand with your favorite superhero friends to bring peace and order to<br />

camp! But first, campers will need to train and learn the powers of these<br />

superheroes to thwart the super villains looking to take over camp,<br />

and the world!<br />

Time Traveling the World July 9-20<br />

Join our detectives as they travel through time and around the world to<br />

track down the infamous thief, Carmen San Diego! She is going back in time<br />

and stealing valuable items from countries around the world, and we must<br />

stop her!<br />

Power of the Force July 23-August 3<br />

Jump into hyperspace on an intergalactic journey! The search is on to find the<br />

missing droids who hold the secret plans to stop the evil Empire's attempt to take<br />

over the camp! Dodge your way through asteroids, bounty hunters, aliens, and<br />

troopers as we visit other worlds ruled by the Dark Side or the Light.<br />

Kingdom of Legends August 6-17<br />

Legendary fairy-tale characters collide with the modern world! They've been<br />

transported here to defend camp from the Evil Queen and her villains. Join our<br />

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE<br />

The Y is a non-profit charitable organization that<br />

strengthens the foundations of our community. Thanks<br />

to donations to the Y’s Annual <strong>Camp</strong>aign, we can offer<br />

financial assistance to those unable to pay the standard<br />

fees. Y memberships and programs are available to all. If<br />

you are interested in sending your child to camp, but are<br />

experiencing a financial situation that makes full payment<br />

difficult, you are invited to apply for our financial<br />

assistance program. Requests are confidential.<br />

DEPOSIT<br />

<strong>Camp</strong> deposits are due at the time of registration.<br />

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and are<br />

subtracted from your weekly rate. Member: $25 per child<br />

per week. Non-member: $50 per child per week.<br />

SIBLING DISCOUNTS<br />

Families with two or more children signing up for the<br />

same camp week receive 10% off the lowest weekly fee<br />

(restrictions apply). Discount can only be applied during<br />

onsite registration. Discount is not able to be combined<br />

with financial assistance and/or staff discounts.<br />

CAMP PAYMENT<br />

Payments must be made through weekly automated<br />

draft or in-full at time of registration. <strong>Camp</strong> payments<br />

are processed two Sundays prior to the camp start date.<br />

<strong>Camp</strong> payments are not able to be split between two or<br />

more payers.<br />

FEES FOR CANCELLATION, CHANGES,<br />

OR LATE REGISTRATION<br />

No refunds are available after the start of a camp week.<br />

Any camp cancellations less than one week prior to the<br />

camp start date will result in a $50 cancellation fee. Any<br />

camp registration submitted after the Wednesday before<br />

camp will result in an additional $50 late registration<br />

fee. Any camp registration change made after the initial<br />

registration will result in a $25 change fee.<br />

LATE PICK UP FEE<br />

The camp day ends at 6 pm. If you are going to be<br />

late picking up your child, please arrange to have an<br />

authorized pick-up person arrive by 6 pm or call the Y<br />

to inform staff. A late fee of $5 for pick-up one to five<br />

minutes past program end time, and $1 per minute<br />

thereafter will be charged.<br />
