Q - What’s your full name? A -NEWO is the name my photography goes under :) I’m Ellie Fulford - based in Castleford in the UK, started photography just over a year ago :) Q - What inspired you to go into photography? A - Just a love of all things alt-fashiony I guess, I loved makeup art and seeing amazing pieces from designers,wanted to be able to capture how beautiful I thought they were. Q -So do you do this on a professional level? A - No no this is just a hobby for me ,I just love creating the sort of images I do! Q - what’s the greatest challenge you’ve had so far? A - The greatest challenge so far has been trying to stay original and true to myself and my concepts as much as possible. Not getting disheartened if someone rips off my work or if someone subsequently pulls off the same thing a lot better than I did. To be truly original is so hard when there’s so many awesome creative people out there, but the main thing for me is to just remain true to the fashion I’m passionate about and it goes from there! Q - What funds your photography? A - I self fund with my regular job, Usually I work with other creatives on a collaborative basis, especially if it’s a project I really want to work on. I’m very lucky to have met and worked with some amazing people. Q -where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? A - In the next 5 years - keeping on doing exactly what I’m doing now just with bigger and more awesome concepts! Hopefully getting involved with more people globally too!
