Q - What’s your full name, location and how long have you been shooting<br />
for?<br />
A - Stephanie Pearl Rogers, Bristol in UK and I’ve been shooting for 4<br />
years<br />
Q - What inspires you? Your pictures are very Very unique<br />
A - Is this a hobby on the side for you or a full time profession?<br />
A - Thank you so much! So many things inspire me! Paintings, lyrics,<br />
mythology, nature and science, films etc. I’m particularly drawn to creating<br />
images as a release of pain so anything that conceptually visualises<br />
sorrow really speaks to me.<br />
A - This is a hobby but I would love it to be an occasional full time<br />
thing. At the moment I’m j<strong>us</strong>t fitting it in between working as an Ecologist<br />
Q - Let’s talk about this image<br />
A - The image was created <strong>us</strong>ing a smoke grenade that Shannon’s h<strong>us</strong>band<br />
was flailing about in the background. I <strong>us</strong>ed three photographs to<br />
expand my frame above and below the scene. I then <strong>us</strong>ed a shot of the<br />
antlers that I <strong>took</strong> immediately after the scene in identical lighting. I<br />
then changed the colours and curves, vignetted the image and added a<br />
few textures.
