(SD) HARRIS COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL<br />
DISTRICT TO LAUNCH STORM DRAIN REPAIR<br />
PROJECT AT SOUTHDOWN CREEK<br />
Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) has provided an update, following<br />
earlier communication with the Association, and site inspections.<br />
HCFCD will be performing a repair project at various locations throughout the<br />
drainage channel U106-08-00 (the creek running along Lowery Elementary). The<br />
project includes work on outfalls (the end sections at the creek of the corrugated iron<br />
pipes, that originate from the storm drains in our streets). Multiple sections of the<br />
concrete hike and bike trail will be removed in order for HCFCD to properly repair the<br />
failed drainage structures. Construction is tentatively scheduled for <strong>January</strong> <strong>2018</strong>.<br />

(SD) ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE<br />
Homeowners are reminded that approval from the Architectural Review Committee<br />
must be obtained before any changes or improvements are made to the exterior<br />
of your property. This includes painting and roof replacement, to name a few.<br />
Applications can be obtained from the www.coppperfield.org website.<br />
(SD) FROM THE BOARD<br />
The Board encourages homeowners to let them know if you are experiencing personal<br />
difficulties that prohibit you from properly maintaining your home or paying your<br />
HOA fees. Life happens. If you are going through a sickness, financial crisis or some<br />
other life challenge, please let us know so we can address the issue on a case-by-case<br />

(SD) TRASH DAY<br />
Southdown Village has backdoor trash pick-up on Tuesday and Friday. Recycling is<br />
on Tuesday. Trash and recycling bins must be stored out of view until the evening<br />
before trash day. Failure to do so may result in a violation of deed restrictions.<br />
