Peak time is November–April, but swells can<br />
kick up during the hurricane season too. Lessons<br />
and board rentals are available at Mt Irvine,<br />
which is where the T&T Surfing Association<br />
(surftt.org) holds the <strong>Tobago</strong> Pro Open event.<br />
Bacolet is another popular spot.<br />

Competitions and training events, such as the<br />
Rainbow Cup international triathlon (mid-year),<br />
