“Városerdő” – The town’s forest<br />
5 km from Gyula, towards Sarkad on the left bank of the Cris River is a recreation area of the town called Városerdő<br />
(Town forest). The natural swimming area with free entry, with its sandy shores, is the favorite place<br />
for bath takers, swimmers and fishermen. You can rent a classical boat, pedal boats or one of the kayaking<br />
types. The so-called „forest school” offers the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich flora and fauna,<br />
crossing the paths of its surrounding forests.<br />
