LOOKING BACK: Start your New Zealand family history research with a six-week beginners guide to family<br />

history course starting from today at South Library. The course introduces some of the key resources available<br />

at Christchurch City Libraries and beyond. Key life events such as births, marriages and deaths will be<br />

researched, along with sources covering migration, military and electoral information. Bring along as much<br />

as you already know of your forebears - names, dates, places, etc, and staff will help you to fill in some<br />

gaps. The course will be weekly on Tuesdays, from 6-8pm. The cost is $15 per term, booking required.<br />
