Ví dụ: I would love to live near the sea.

7. Space = không gian; the space = chỗ trổng
Ví dụ: There are millions of stars in space.
He tried to park his car but the space wasn't big enough.

Ví dụ: Can you turn off the television, please?
(=the television set)
10. Không dùng the với tên các bữa ăn.
Ví dụ: What time is lunch?
We had dinner in a restaurant.
Nhưng ta nói a m e al:
Ví dụ: We had a meal in a restaurant.
Dùng a khi CÓ adjective (tính từ bổ ngữ) đứng trước tên các
bữa ăn:
Ví dụ: Thank you. That was a very nice lunch.
11. The + danh từsố ít đếm được để chỉ một loài cây, động vật
một loại máy móc, phát minh (cũng có thể dùng danh từsó
nhiếu không có the)
Ví dụ: The rose is my favourite flower. (Chi loài hoa hóng
nói chung)
