St. David’s Nursery School
provides growth and
development for the whole child
Since 1954, St. David’s Nursery
School has been providing
children ages 2-4 years old with a
warm, nurturing and challenging
preschool experience where creative
play may flourish and sound
human relationships may develop.
The goal of St. David’s Nursery
School is to provide for the growth
and development of the whole
child and his or her social, intellectual,
motional and physical needs.
St. David’s Nursery School offers
programs for 2-4 year olds as well
as a Kinderplus program and after
school enrichment classes. Our
curriculum is developed using the
Illinois Early Learning Standards
and Creative Curriculum and we
are NAEYC accredited. We integrate
key areas of content into
our curriculum, including literacy,
mathematics, science, social studies,
technology, creative expression,
health and safety and the arts.
Children will have the opportunity
to affect what happens in the classroom
by participating in the decision
making process about issues
concerning classroom behavior,
plans and activities. The exceptional
teachers and staff at St. David’s
Nursery School are highly aware of
their responsibility to give the children
a positive introduction into
school life and accept the responsibility
with warm and caring hearts.
