Brake Technology 4.0 at Hannover Messe 2017
With Industry 4.0 gathering momentum, more and
more companies are presenting their applications.
With Brake technology 4.0, Mayr power transmission
is offering reliable safety brakes, which are equipped
for the challenges for the fourth industrial revolution.
Brake technology 4.0 by Mayr stands for monitoring
modules of the latest generation. Modules such as
the ‘Roba-brake-checker’ allow permanent brake
monitoring. These modules monitors the switching
condition as well as the tension path or tension force
reserve without sensors and detect safety-critical
changes in voltage, air gap and temperature. On
reaching the tension path reserve, the module
therefore sends a warning signal indicating that the
brake can continue to be operated for a certain
amount of time at an early stage. During this time, the
machine owner can undertake targeted maintenance. The perfectly-coordinated
system guarantees utmost level of operational and functional safety, and also
increases the productivity of machines through preventative fault detection and
maintenance.
Smart motors ready for Industry 4.0 at Hannover
Messe 2017
As an exhibitor at the Hannover Messe 2017, the company Dunkermotoren, is set to
present its wide range of DC and BLDC motors with gearboxes, encoders and brakes.
The company will also display its new planetary gearbox range PLG 63/75/95, a high
power version with up to 160 Nm torque. Furthermore, the drive specialist puts on
display, how they set up their products for the future-factory. Integrated intelligence
and sensors inside the motors are the basis for data analysis, energy and condition
monitoring and predictive maintenance. For the communication inside the
network, Dunkermotoren offers their motors with the latest industrial
field-Bus and Ethernet interfaces. With motors and various drive
systems from Dunkermotoren working at a high efficiency,
they are able to support the factory’s demand-based distribution
of energy. A visit to company’s exhibitor booth at
Hannover Messe 2017 sounds fun, as the company offers
the opportunity to participate in ‘cash box’ which
promises light hearted action and prizes.
High-temperature grease for rolling bearings
The new ‘Klübersynth BHE 46-403’ grease has been developed to meet the long-term
requirements for lubrication of rolling bearings subjected to high loads. The innovative
lubricant design of the fully synthetic, high-temperature grease reliably contributes
to extending the component life across a wide service temperature range.
Additives were carefully selected to provide wear and corrosion protection, and
reduce frictional resistance for long runtimes. Thus, a lasting increase in efficiency
can be attained depending on the component design. It was especially developed for
the lifetime and high-temperature lubrication of rolling bearings subject to sliding
friction, i.e. tapered roller bearings, cylindrical roller bearings and spherical roller
bearings. Klübersynth BHE 46-403 can also be used as a sealing grease or for the
lubrication of rolling bearing seals, thus contributing to product streamlining and
minimising the risk of lubricant mix-ups.
