Prof. Yang Fengtian, a member of the Chinese Academy of<br />
Engineering, presided over the research and development<br />
of Ruixiang electric light sport aircraft that has launched<br />
two models, it was the first electric aircraft in the world<br />
that has completed certification.<br />
For the first time Hao Tian founder Tian Yu attended a public events in<br />
the country. He announced that his e430 two-seater electric aircraft<br />
won the German ultralight certification. Also he confirmed for the first<br />
time publicly that a vertical landing and fixed-wing aircraft are being<br />
developed.<br />
Klara Jurcová, Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy of<br />
the Czech Republic to China, was invited to address the<br />
forum. The Czech Republic also has research and development<br />
strength in the field of electric and aviation.<br />
Tom Peghiny, ASTM's standards-setting body, Light-Performance Aircraft<br />
(LSA), addressed the forum. Light sports aircraft are the most likely<br />
electrified models.<br />
The International e-flight Forum is the first professional activity in this field, attracting hundreds<br />
of delegates from all walks of life both at home and abroad.<br />
