West Lodge Farm Park

Now is the perfect time for a visit! The zoo is buzzing with activity and 

there is so much to see and do with some fantastic new exhibits! Our 

zoo is in a beautiful woodland setting, it is the perfect place to get the 

family, especially children, connected to nature! As an outdoor 

attraction remember to check the weather forecast and come prepared 

– wrap up warm and bring boots and waterproof gear. 

Our young Brazilian tapir calf born 14th October 2017 is quite a 

character and is developing a very strong yet comedic personality. He 

takes joy in everything he does whether exploring his paddock, playing 

chase with mum and dad or quite simply, eating. Watching, or more 

particularly hearing, him munching on his favourite food, carrots, is 

something that shouldn’t be missed! 

Primarily a breeding centre for endangered species, Linton Zoo is 

home to some very exciting animals which include magnificent tigers, 

lions, snow leopard, tapirs, kangaroo, binturong, Mountain zebra, 

lemurs, giant tortoises, lots of birds and some unusual reptiles. 

There is a very exciting schedule of events over the school holidays and 

at weekends which our team have developed to get you much closer to 

some of our animals, whilst giving you more information about our 

conservation projects. Meet our Brazilian tapirs Thiago, Tiana and their 

new addition when the family are given their lunch at 12 o’clock. And 

there is an opportunity to get very close to the red kangaroo and 

wallaby mob when the keepers give them their afternoon snack. Don’t 

miss the animal encounters where you will have a chance to touch 

some of our smaller zoo animals, every day there will be something 

different and may include snakes, lizards, owls, baby giant tortoises, 

guinea pigs, giant stick insects and other creepy crawlies!

people with their performing arts training is high on the agenda for the 

theatre school, which is backed by Dragons’ Den Duncan Bannatyne. 

The opportunity to see what undiscovered talent Cambridge has is also 

incredibly exciting and giving existing students the chance to hone their skills 

and shine individually in front of industry judges is a fantastic motivator too. 

“Razz’s Got Talent is a really fun way for children to enter a talent contest in 

a safe and caring environment,” says Emma, Principal of Razzamataz 

Cambridge. “We only give really constructive and positive feedback 

because we know it takes a lot of courage and determination to enter a 

talent competition and we want this experience to be a really positive one 

that they can learn from.” 

The judges are looking for raw talent and a special something that sets 

them apart from the competition. Razzamataz teaches all three disciplines, 

dance, drama and singing, to create ‘triple threat performers’ so children 

taking part can showcase one or all of these skills.

Margarita Sidirokastriti, audiences will get a glimpse of the challenges of their 

adventurous journey as they travels towards an uncertain but ultimately optimistic 

future.

Dancing is fun, even more so when it’s done with friends. But for a child,

The Jill Bridger School of Dance is proud to have been promoting these

become confident, assured young adults embarking on university or their
