Culinary Art / Arts and Learning Little Chefs Friday * New day! Y member rate: $52 Y non-member rate: $105 Give your budding chef a head start with this fun and tasty class. Simple cooking projects complement tasting activities and nutrition lessons. Ages: 3-6 62152 Enrichment Studio 10:45am to 11:30am Fri, March 2 - Fri, April 13 Ellis Lifeguard Certification / Swim Ellis & Associates Lifeguarding Course Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Y member rate: $175 Y non-member rate: $225 Prerequisites: swim 200 yards (8 lengths); tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands; perform feet first surface dive to lift a 10-pound brick off the bottom of the pool. Upon 100% attendance and successful completion of water skills and written exam, participants receive a 1- year certification in Ellis and Associates Lifeguarding. Must possess a valid email address. Ages: 15 and up 54322 Kennett YMCA 9am to 5pm Fri, February 23 - Sun, February 25 54323 Kennett YMCA 9am to 5pm Fri, March 16 - Sun, March 18 54324 Kennett YMCA 9am to 5pm Fri, April 6 - Sun, April 8 54325 Kennett YMCA 9am to 5pm Fri, April 20 - Sun, April 22 54326 Kennett YMCA 9am to 5pm Fri, May 11 - Sun, May 13 Each class runs Friday from 6-10pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 5pm. You must be able to attend all 3 days. Ellis & Associates Re-Certification Course Sunday Y member rate: $100 Y non-member rate: $150 Prerequisites: Swim 200 yards (8 lengths); tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands; perform a 10' feet first surface dive to lift a brick off the bottom of the pool, plus proof of valid E&A certification. Upon successful completion of water skills and written exam, participants receive a 1-year re-certification in Ellis & Associates Lifeguarding. Re-certification includes First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR, Oxygen Administration and AED. No refunds regardless of passing or failing the course.
