Preschool Stage 2: Water Movement (Pike/Eel)
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday
Y member rate: $62
Y non-member rate: $93
Prerequisite: Completion of Stage 1. For Preschool age children
who are comfortable in the water and able to swim and float
assisted for 5 feet. In stage 2 students focus on body position
and control, directional change, and forward movement in the
water while also continuing to practice how to safely exit in the
event of falling into a body of water.
Ages: 3-5

Preschool Stage 3: Water Stamina (Eel)
Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday

Prerequisite: Completion of Stage 2. For Preschool age children
who can swim 10 yards unassisted with their face in the water
and without a flotation device. In stage 3 students learn how to
swim safely from a longer distance, rhythmic breathing and
integrated arm and leg action.
