Action Required
Quite often, at conferences and events, you’re struck
by what we like to call a “so what?” moment...the
one that goes something like: “so you’ve got us all
here together- what for? You’ve said a lot of stuff...so
what?”
It’s important to not only pre-empt this sort of
response, but also work it into your meeting by
tackling the action required. What do you want your
attendees to do with what they have just heard?
Here’s a run down of our key points:
• So what? Make sure you can answer
this question.
• Make clear the calls to action and asks of those
attending. Be explicit in what you want people to
do when they leave and return to the office.
• Ask for commitment, follow it up and
