CARSON KRESSLEY AND KRISTINE W MIX COMEDY AND
CLASSICS IN ‘STRAIGHT UP WITH A TWIST’
On March 16, TV personality Carson Kressley will join forces with hit
dance recording sensation Kristine W at New York City’s Joe’s Pub for
an evening to remember, filled with comedy and song.
Kressley, of course, is best known for being the fashion virtuoso on
the hit television program “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” He’s also
appeared on “Dancing With the Stars,” the “Miss Universe Pageant”
and was a host on the ABC series “True Beauty.” He regularly critiques
red carpet events including the Oscars and the Golden Globes and can
currently be seen judging the queens on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
Kristine W is an international dance music diva. Billboard Magazine
recently named her “Dance Music Artist of the Decade.” Her latest
single, “Stars,” ties her with Mariah Carey for the sixth artist with the
most #1 club hits ever. She’s had an astounding 17, including “Feel
What You Want” and “One More Try.”
The long-time friends are excited
to take the stage together for
the first time in “Straight Up
With a Twist.”
So tell us a little about the show.
Carson: We have two amazing
shows coming up: March 16 at
Joe’s Pub in New York City and the
17th in New Hope. It will be two
evenings of cabaret, classics and
comedy. Kristine and I have been
great friends for years. We travel in
the same circles professionally, and
it’s exciting to finally get together
for a fun night entertaining people.
Sounds like a lot of fun.
Carson: This is kind of like our pilot
show in New York and New Hope. If
all goes well, we’ll take it across the
country and beyond.

Kristine, congratulations on “Stars”
climbing to #1!
Kristine: It’s pretty exciting stuff. It was
a nail biter. I don’t generally put out a
song in the fourth quarter. Everybody
and their dog puts out records this
time of year, so I took a leap of faith.
I just thought this song was going to
do it, and it happened. It’s my first #1
record in seven years. My team and I
are over the moon.
I bet! So Carson, you’ve done
everything in the world...
Carson: Everyone or everything?
Both.
Carson: I like to do fun and interesting
things. I’ve been so blessed to do a
lot of television projects, from “Queer
Eye” to “Drag Race.” Sometimes when
stage opportunities like this come
along, they are so out of your normal
wheelhouse, you say, “That can be
really fun.” It’s also a bit terrifying, but
this sounded like something too fun
not to do. I’ve always wanted to do
a standup show, but I didn’t want to
do it alone. So doing the show with
Kristine, adding classics to comedy in a
cabaret setting, seems like the perfect
combination.
Joe’s Pub is a cool, intimate venue.
What are you looking forward to
most about the show? What do you
think the audience will most react to
and love?
Carson: Well, everyone reacts to
Kristine’s music, because it’s just been
part of our lives for so long, and she is
such a talent.
Kristine: Aww, you are such a
sweetheart, Carson. I think it’s nice for
people to hear songs that they’ve been
dancing to at tea dances and big circuit
parties. I think the thing that has drawn
people to my music for years is that I
always try to have a message in there.
I try to make it a song that can be
applied to people and situations. Fans
can take the messages and call it their
own. I’ve always thought that music
was such good medicine for people.
“Straight Up With a Twist” is going
to be a really fun time for everyone.
The audience can sing along, they
can reminisce. I’m looking forward to
asking people, “Hey, what were you
doing when ‘Feel What You Want’
came out?”.
Carson: I was always doing something,
but I can’t remember.

Something, or someone?
Carson: Both. I’ve been putting my
Pandora on auto loop for the last three
days in Miami trying to get inspired
for our show. There are so many great
songs, and I’m constantly reflecting: “I
remember where I was when this came
out, and I remember this.” So that’s
fun to reminisce! I think that people
love the nostalgia, but also hearing the
songs in a totally new way, unplugged
and acoustic. You really get to listen
to the words. When you sit down and
listen, and you’re not in a big party
environment, you realize the songs
are really well written with beautiful
messages. I am excited for people
to see and hear that side of Kristine.
Then, for my part, I’m just excited
because I love to entertain people and
make people feel at home, relaxed,
comfortable and celebrated. Kristine
and I hope to have a really great
time in a world that’s kind of not so
awesome at times. We’ll be in our little
bubble and celebrate each other.
Kristine: It’s definitely something
everybody needs right now. I think it’s
going to be great to come together.
We’re going to have a music and
comedy love fest.
Kristine, the new song has a really
cool message. Can you share that?
Kristine: “Stars” is about going
through difficult times and trying to
find that secret hero in you that makes
you feel empowered. People come in
and out of your life for many different
reasons. There are successes, there are
failures. Emotionally, it’s been a really
difficult year for me. I’ve been going
through a divorce. It’s going to be final
soon, but it’s really cut me to the core.
When you’ve been with somebody
for a long time, you have to find the
superhero inside you to forge on. So
it’s a special song to me, message wise.
It’s about something I’ve been going
through that many others have also
gone through. It’s a pretty heartfelt
song and bittersweet. I’m relishing the
fact that it went to #1, even more so
because the lyrics are so real to me.
You tied with Mariah Carey on the
Billboard charts.
Kristine: Yeah, that’s amazing and such
an honor. I’m still in shock.
Carson, are you going to sing?
Carson: I don’t know. I’d have to pull
a Milli Vanilli and lip sync up there.
You know, I have done a couple of
Broadway musicals, so I might whip
out some of my past singing skills and
do something for the children. Maybe
we will do a duet or something, who
knows? You will have to come to the
show and see.
I’m so there!
Kristine: There are going to be a lot of
surprises in person.
It sounds like you guys are going to
have a blast.
Carson: I think so. I think we’re both
old enough to know the importance
of making it fun and working with nice
people, and I think we’re both looking
forward to that.

Carson, how is “Drag Race”
going for you?
Carson: It’s a really fun job,
and I’m so blessed to be part
of it. New York Times magazine
recently called it the most radical
show on TV. I’m always surprised
by that. We’re not trying to push
an agenda, but somehow the
show opens people’s minds—I
think because it showcases
people trying to be the best
at what they do. At the end of
the day, everybody does drag.
Everybody puts on their work
games and their battle gear and
goes out into the world. “Drag
Race” shows that we are all a lot
more alike than we are different.
Kristine: I agree, very well said.
Carson: It’s made many young
people socially aware, and there
are many fans of the show from
all different walks of life.
If either one of you could
tell your fans or followers
anything, what would you say
to them?
Carson: Step away from those
pleated khakis. They are the
devil’s playground.
Kristine: That’s a good one, Carson! I’d
say, thanks for the love. We’ve both got
a fun family of fans, and I’m so looking
forward to bringing them together.
Seriously, I think it’s going to be one big
love fest. Everyone’s going to leave with
happy hearts. It couldn’t come at a better
time for that, right?
It’s 3 a.m., and I can’t
sleep. So I write.
Last night, I was late
meeting my boyfriend. I’m
usually late, but this was
important.
I rushed down 9th Avenue
to Barrage. There he was,
sitting in the corner booth,
exactly where I would have
picked. He knows me well.
I haven’t written about
him much. I don’t know
that I will. I haven’t written
about how we met, or
when I asked him to be
my boyfriend, or our
one-year anniversary.
It’s hard to write about
things when you’re in it:
I find my writing is better
in retrospect. When
something is over, I know
the entire plot of the story,
start to finish, and only
then can I begin to write it.
So here we are. Me and
my boyfriend. Neither of
us can look at each other,
because we know: It’s
over. When we finally start
talking, we do so for two
hours. What we’re feeling.
Where we went wrong.
It’s hard not to feel like
you’ve failed. Another
relationship, another
two years dedicated to
something that no longer
exists. We tried - both of
us, I think. We tried so
hard.
I wonder if it’s me. I
wonder, if giving all of
myself isn’t enough, will
anything ever be?
I wonder why love isn’t
enough?
I got through most of
our conversation without
getting emotional, mostly
because nothing we talked
about was new. I knew he
wasn’t invested anymore. I
knew he didn’t love me. It
wasn’t until the end, when
he asked if I’d ever tried
to intentionally push him
away. “No,” I said quickly.
“Did it feel like I had?”
“Near the end. You started
talking about marriage a
lot, like you knew it made
me uncomfortable.”
That’s when I choked
up. “No,” I managed to
say, shaking my head.
I couldn’t look at him; I
slumped in the booth,
staring at the ceiling,
the disco ball’s reflection
changing color every
two seconds. “That’s
just me. That’s just want
I want. That’s just who I
am.” A disco version of
“We Could Have Had
It All” played in the
background—I’m not even
kidding.
When he left, I went
to pay my tab, and the
bartender told me that
my boyfriend - my exboyfriend
- covered all of
my drinks. “Hey - aren’t
you the guy who writes for
Get Out! Magazine?”
“That’s me.”
“I love it. Want a shot?”
I took it, reminding myself
@ianmichaelinwonderland
ANOTHER
that I didn’t move to New
York to get married; I
So I write.
It’s 3 am, and I’m listening
to Aimee Mann. “I get
lost in space, that goes
on forever - and you
make all the rest just
an afterthought - and I
believe it’s you who could
What is TRUVADA for PrEP?
TRUVADA for PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis)
is a prescription medicine that is used together
with safer sex practices to help reduce the risk
of getting HIV-1 through sex. This use is only for
HIV-negative adults who are at high risk of getting
HIV-1. To help determine your risk of getting HIV-1,
talk openly with your healthcare provider about
your sexual health.
Ask your healthcare provider if you have questions
about how to prevent getting HIV. Always practice
safer sex and use condoms to lower the chance
of sexual contact with body fl uids. Never reuse or
share needles or other items that have body fl uids
on them.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
What is the most important information I
should know about TRUVADA for PrEP?
Before taking TRUVADA for PrEP:
® You must be HIV-negative before you start
taking TRUVADA for PrEP. You must get
tested to make sure that you do not already
have HIV-1. Do not take TRUVADA to reduce the
risk of getting HIV-1 unless you are confi rmed
to be HIV-negative.
® Many HIV-1 tests can miss HIV-1 infection
in a person who has recently become
infected. If you have fl u-like symptoms, you
could have recently become infected with
HIV-1. Tell your healthcare provider if you had
a fl u-like illness within the last month before
starting or at any time while taking TRUVADA
for PrEP. Symptoms of new HIV-1 infection
include tiredness, fever, joint or muscle aches,
headache, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, rash,
night sweats, and/or enlarged lymph nodes in
the neck or groin.
While taking TRUVADA for PrEP:
® You must continue to use safer sex
practices. Just taking TRUVADA for PrEP
may not keep you from getting HIV-1.
® You must stay HIV-negative to keep taking
TRUVADA for PrEP:
® Get tested for HIV-1 at least every 3 months.
® If you think you were exposed to HIV-1, tell
your healthcare provider right away.
® To further help reduce your risk of getting
HIV-1:
® Know your HIV status and the HIV status of
your partners.
® Get tested for other sexually transmitted
infections. Other infections make it easier
for HIV to infect you.
® Get information and support to help reduce
risky sexual behavior, such as having fewer
sex partners.
® Do not miss any doses of TRUVADA. Missing
doses may increase your risk of getting HIV-1
infection.
® If you do become HIV-1 positive, you need
more medicine than TRUVADA alone to treat
HIV-1. TRUVADA by itself is not a complete
treatment for HIV-1. If you have HIV-1 and take
only TRUVADA, your HIV-1 may become harder to
treat over time.
TRUVADA can cause serious side effects:
® Worsening of hepatitis B (HBV) infection.
TRUVADA is not approved to treat HBV. If you have
HBV and stop taking TRUVADA, your HBV may
suddenly get worse. Do not stop taking TRUVADA
without fi rst talking to your healthcare provider,
as they will need to monitor your health.
Who should not take TRUVADA for PrEP?
Do not take TRUVADA for PrEP if you:
® Already have HIV-1 infection or if you do
not know your HIV-1 status. If you are HIV-1
positive, you need to take other medicines with
TRUVADA to treat HIV-1. TRUVADA by itself is not
a complete treatment for HIV-1. If you have HIV-1
and take only TRUVADA, your HIV-1 may become
harder to treat over time.
® Also take certain medicines to treat hepatitis B
infection.
What are the other possible side effects of
TRUVADA for PrEP?
Serious side effects of TRUVADA may also include:
® Kidney problems, including kidney failure.
Your healthcare provider may do blood tests to
check your kidneys before and during treatment
with TRUVADA. If you develop kidney problems,
your healthcare provider may tell you to stop
taking TRUVADA.
® Too much lactic acid in your blood (lactic
acidosis), which is a serious but rare medical
emergency that can lead to death. Tell your
healthcare provider right away if you get these
symptoms: weakness or being more tired than
usual, unusual muscle pain, being short of breath
or fast breathing, stomach pain with nausea and
vomiting, cold or blue hands and feet, feel dizzy or
lightheaded, or a fast or abnormal heartbeat.
® Severe liver problems, which in rare cases can
lead to death. Tell your healthcare provider right
away if you get these symptoms: skin or the white
part of your eyes turns yellow, dark “tea-colored”
urine, light-colored stools, loss of appetite for
several days or longer, nausea, or stomach-area
pain.
Please see Important Facts about TRUVADA for PrEP including important warnings on the following pages.

We’re adventurous,
not reckless.
We know who we are. And we make choices that fit our lives.
TRUVADA for PrEP is a once-daily prescription medicine that can
help reduce the risk of getting HIV-1 when taken every day and used
together with safer sex practices.
® TRUVADA for PrEP is only for adults who are at high risk of getting HIV
through sex.
® You must be HIV-negative before you start taking TRUVADA for PrEP.
Ask your doctor about your risk of getting HIV-1 infection and if
TRUVADA for PrEP may be right for you.
® Bone problems, including bone pain,
softening, or thinning, which may lead to
fractures. Your healthcare provider may do
tests to check your bones.
Common side effects in people taking TRUVADA
for PrEP are stomach-area (abdomen) pain,
headache, and decreased weight. Tell your
healthcare provider if you have any side effects
that bother you or do not go away.
What should I tell my healthcare provider
before taking TRUVADA for PrEP?
® All your health problems. Be sure to tell your
healthcare provider if you have or have had
any kidney, bone, or liver problems, including
hepatitis.
® If you are pregnant or plan to become
pregnant. It is not known if TRUVADA can
harm your unborn baby. If you become
pregnant while taking TRUVADA for PrEP, talk
to your healthcare provider to decide if you
should keep taking TRUVADA.
® If you are breastfeeding (nursing) or plan to
breastfeed. Do not breastfeed. If you become
HIV-positive, HIV can be passed to the baby in
breast milk.
® All the medicines you take, including
prescription and over-the-counter medicines,
vitamins, and herbal supplements. TRUVADA may
interact with other medicines. Keep a list of all
your medicines and show it to your healthcare
provider and pharmacist when you get a new
medicine.
® If you take certain other medicines with
TRUVADA, your healthcare provider may need to
check you more often or change your dose. These
medicines include certain medicines to treat
hepatitis C (HCV) infection.
have HIV-1. Do not take TRUVADA for PrEP to
reduce the risk of getting HIV-1 unless you are
confi rmed to be HIV-1 negative.
• Many HIV-1 tests can miss HIV-1 infection in
a person who has recently become infected.
Symptoms of new HIV-1 infection include fl u-like
symptoms, tiredness, fever, joint or muscle aches,
headache, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, rash,
night sweats, and/or enlarged lymph nodes in the
neck or groin. Tell your healthcare provider if you
have had a fl u-like illness within the last month
before starting TRUVADA for PrEP.
While taking TRUVADA for PrEP:
• You must continue to use safer sex practices.
Just taking TRUVADA for PrEP may not keep
you from getting HIV-1.
• You must stay HIV-negative to keep taking
TRUVADA for PrEP. Get tested for HIV-1 at least
every 3 months while taking TRUVADA for PrEP.
Tell your healthcare provider right away if you
think you were exposed to HIV-1 or have a fl u-like
illness while taking TRUVADA for PrEP.
• If you do become HIV-1 positive, you need
more medicine than TRUVADA alone to treat
HIV-1. If you have HIV-1 and take only TRUVADA,
your HIV-1 may become harder to treat over time.
• See the “How to Further Reduce Your Risk”
section for more information.
w
TRUVADA may cause serious side effects,
including:
• Worsening of hepatitis B (HBV) infection.
TRUVADA is not approved to treat HBV. If you
have HBV, your HBV may suddenly get worse if
you stop taking TRUVADA. Do not stop taking
TRUVADA without fi rst talking to your healthcare
provider, as they will need to check your health
regularly for several months.
ABOUT TRUVADA FOR PrEP
TRUVADA for PrEP is a prescription medicine
used together with safer sex practices to help
reduce the risk of getting HIV-1 through sex. This
use is only for HIV-negative adults who are at
high risk of getting HIV-1.
• To help determine your risk of getting HIV-1, talk
openly with your healthcare provider about your
sexual health.
Do NOT take TRUVADA for PrEP if you:
• Already have HIV-1 infection or if you do not
know your HIV-1 status.
• Take certain medicines to treat hepatitis B
infection.
HOW TO TAKE TRUVADA FOR PrEP
• Take 1 tablet once a day, every day, not just
when you think you have been exposed to HIV-1.
• Do not miss any doses. Missing doses may
increase your risk of getting HIV-1 infection.
• Use TRUVADA for PrEP together with condoms
and safer sex practices.
• Get tested for HIV-1 at least every 3 months. You
must stay HIV-negative to keep taking TRUVADA
for PrEP.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF TRUVADA FOR PrEP
TRUVADA can cause serious side effects,
including:
• Those in the “Most Important Information
About TRUVADA for PrEP" section.
• New or worse kidney problems, including
kidney failure.
• Too much lactic acid in your blood (lactic
acidosis), which is a serious but rare medical
emergency that can lead to death. Tell your
healthcare provider right away if you get these
symptoms: weakness or being more tired than
usual, unusual muscle pain, being short of
breath or fast breathing, stomach pain with
nausea and vomiting, cold or blue hands and
feet, feel dizzy or lightheaded, or a fast or
abnormal heartbeat.
• Severe liver problems, which in rare cases can
lead to death. Tell your healthcare provider
right away if you get these symptoms: skin or
the white part of your eyes turns yellow, dark
“tea-colored” urine, light-colored stools, loss of
appetite for several days or longer, nausea, or
stomach-area pain.
• Bone problems.
Common side effects in people taking TRUVADA
for PrEP include stomach-area (abdomen) pain,
headache, and decreased weight.
These are not all the possible side effects of
TRUVADA. Tell your healthcare provider right
away if you have any new symptoms while taking
TRUVADA for PrEP.
Your healthcare provider will need to do tests
to monitor your health before and during
treatment with TRUVADA for PrEP.
BEFORE TAKING TRUVADA FOR PrEP
Tell your healthcare provider if you:
• Have or have had any kidney, bone, or liver
problems, including hepatitis.
• Have any other medical conditions.
• Are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
• Are breastfeeding (nursing) or plan to breastfeed.
Do not breastfeed. If you become HIV-positive,
HIV can pass to the baby in breast milk.
Tell your healthcare provider about all the
medicines you take:
• Keep a list that includes all prescription and
over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and
herbal supplements, and show it to your
healthcare provider and pharmacist.
• Ask your healthcare provider or pharmacist
about medicines that should not be taken with
TRUVADA for PrEP.
HOW TO FURTHER REDUCE YOUR RISK
• Know your HIV status and the HIV status
of your partners.
• Get tested for other sexually transmitted
infections. Other infections make it easier for
HIV to infect you.
• Get information and support to help reduce
risky sexual behavior, such as having fewer sex
partners.
• Do not share needles or personal items that can
have blood or body fl uids on them.
CELEBRITY CORRESPONDENT
President Mark Costanzo:
NIGHT OF A THOUSAND GOWNS
On April 7, The Imperial
Court of New York’s Night
of a Thousand Gowns will
take place, and it promises
to be a night to remember.
The night is a glamorous
and opulent event laced
with celebrities and
royalty, all in the name of
charity.
I shared questions with
Mark Costanzo, president
of The Imperial Court
of New York, about the
extravaganza, what can be
expected and some useful
information about how to
attend.
I always like to begin by asking
where, when and what charity was
selected this year for Night of a
Thousand Gowns.
This year Night of a Thousand Gowns will take
place on April 7, 2018, at the Marriott Marquis
in the heart of New York City. Our beneficiary
this year is God’s Love We Deliver.
Who will be present, aside from
the fabulous Imperial Court of New
York?
This year we will be giving our Diamond
Award to Cleve Jones and our Gina
Quattrochi Award to David Bruinooge for
all of their hard work and dedication to the
LGBT community. We also have two great
performers this year, Beth Sacks and Dawn
Tallman, who will both bring down the house.
Is there anything new and
unexpected for this year’s
extravaganza?
Every year something is new and unexpected.
This year our theme is Carnival, with wild
decor and colors.
What does the event mean to you
personally?
This event means a lot, not only to me but to
every member of the Imperial Court of New
York. We work so hard every year to make
this event more spectacular than the year
before. We are an all-volunteer organization,
and we put our heart and soul in this
production.

What are you most looking
forward to?
To a wonderful evening of fun and to raise a
lot of money for God’s Love We Deliver.
What are the steps one would
take to become involved with the
ICNY?
To get involved with our organization you
can attend our monthly meeting, which
meets on the first Wednesday of each
month at 7:30 p.m. at the LGBT Center. Our
meetings are open to the public. If you join
with us, you start off as a lord or a lady, and
the more that you get involved and the more
you do to help raise money, you climb up the
ladder to get elevated to the next level. The
highest level you can achieve is to become an
emperor or empress.
What are some of the charities
ICNY supports throughout the
year?
God’s Love We Deliver, Bailey House,
GMHC, PFLAG, Ali Forney, amFAR, Callen
Lorde, Matthew Shepard Foundation, The
Center—there are so many others that we
have helped raise much-needed funds for.
How many guests are you
expecting this year?
We are expecting 800 to 900 guests this
year.
Who is that handsome man
standing next to you in the photo
of your interview? How long have
you both been involved with ICNY?
This handsome man standing next to me
is the love of my life, James. We have been
together for 36 wonderful and amazing years.
We both joined this wonderful organization
in 1999 and are both active members.
How did you get started, and what
was your motivation in becoming
involved?
I joined the Imperial Court of New York in
September of 1999. I was so intrigued by
what was happening that I wanted to be a
part of this group. So I joined, and started off
as a lord and worked my way up to become
Emperor XV Fantasia. I have served on the
board for the past 15 years, and now I am
the current president of this organization.
I could not have done what I have done
for the past year and a half without our
wonderful board officers and board
members at large and our membership.
Together we have done a lot of wonderful
and amazing things. We are in full force now
with our outreach program, Hearts & Voices.
This is where we go to AIDS/HIV facilities
and entertain those who are battling with
AIDS/HIV and put a huge smile on their
faces. We like to be known that we put the
fun in fundraising.
BY MYLO WHALEN
As fashion and fetish-wear
continue to become increasingly
intertwined, designers are striving
to incorporate the latter’s seedy
aesthetic into their collections.
The latest to combine ready-towear
design sensibilities with kinkwear
is Addicted, the Barcelonabased
menswear designer.
This Valentine’s Day, they are
unveiling AD Fetish, their new
steamy line of designer harnesses,
singlets, jocks and boxers.
The collection draws inspiration
from the gay bathhouse
scene, yet everything is finely
and meticulously crafted by
Addicted’s superior artisan team.
“When you go into a sex store,
and you see fetish clothes, the
first thing you notice is they’re not
very wearable,” says Addicted
founder Eduardo Suner. “I wanted
to blend fetish and fashion
together, to make accessories
and clothing that looked fetish-y
but were more wearable and
stylized.”
Designer Carmen Monforte says
her team has had fun redefining
the Addicted collection for the
after-hours set. “The AD Fetish
collection allows us to go beyond
the cotton, lycra and mesh in
our sports collections. We’re
able to incorporate exciting new
materials like rubber, leather
and transparencies into our
creations.”
She says the collection’s purpose
goes beyond sex and seduction:
It’s about embracing the male
body in a way that complements
every body size. “Similar to
Addicted, AD Fetish garments are
sewn and tailored to fit perfectly
on all body shapes.”
Feasting on Fetish
Nir Zilberman, the U.S. sales representative for the brand, adds,
“The collection breaks the barrier that is there when guys buy
clothes. The one that says, ‘My stomach’s too big to wear this,’
or ‘My legs are too skinny to wear that.’ We’re giving guys a new
confidence, inspiring them to be secure in who they are, their
bodies, and to not let anyone interfere with that.”
On the retail end, Zilberman says the response has been
enthusiastic, with initial pieces selling out, and guys all around
the globe Instagramming themselves in their favorite looks. The
harnesses, in particular, have been fan favorites.
Suner is encouraged by the initial success and says he plans to
use it as a springboard to take the line even further. “I want to
take the collection beyond the niche. I want to reach guys who
wouldn’t normally wear fetish gear. I want them to see kink wear as
empowering.”
With demand for fetish-inspired looks at an all-time high, Addicted
stands to tap into a huge market with AD Fetish - one where
collars, body chains and, of course, those sexy leather harnesses
all become must-have accessories in the closets of every man,
beginning this Valentine’s Day and beyond. Says Suner, “I see the
AD Fetish guy as someone who will walk out the door and boldly
proclaim, ‘Hey, this is me, and I don’t give a f*ck what anyone else
thinks.’”
