VII STATION - JESUS FALLS FOR THE SECOND TIME<br />
We worship you oh Christ and we bless you.<br />
Because by your holy <strong>cross</strong> you have redeemed <strong>the</strong> world. (genuflection)<br />
Reading:<br />
And we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and <strong>the</strong><br />
Lord has laid on him <strong>the</strong> iniquity <strong>of</strong> us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he<br />
opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to <strong>the</strong> slaughter, and like a sheep that before its<br />
sharers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth. (Isaiah 53:6-7).<br />
Save me, O God! I sink in <strong>the</strong> deep mire, where <strong>the</strong>re is no foothold; and <strong>the</strong> flood<br />
sweeps over me. For it is for your sake that I have borne reproach, that shame has covered<br />
my face. (Psalm 69:2.3.8)<br />

All stand: Let us pray.<br />
Lord, you have dressed yourself with our weaknesses and have fallen under <strong>the</strong> weight <strong>of</strong><br />
our sins, so that we can stand firm on your love: save us from <strong>the</strong> pride that still makes us<br />
fall and teach us <strong>the</strong> humility to always lean on you.<br />
You who live and reign for ever and ever.<br />

Todos andábamos errantes como ovejas, siguiendo cada uno su propio camino, y el<br />
Señor hizo recaer sobre él las iniquidades de todos nosotros. Al ser maltratado, se humillaba<br />
y ni siquiera abría su boca: como un cordero llevado al matadero, como una oveja muda ante<br />
el que la esquila, él no abría su boca. (Isaias 53:6-7)<br />
Sálvame, Dios mío, Estoy hundido en el fango del Abismo y no puedo hacer pie; y me<br />
arrastra la corriente. Por ti he soportado afrentas y la vergüenza cubrió mi rostro. (Salmo<br />
69:2.3.8)<br />

Señor, te has vestido con nuestras debilidades y has caído bajo el peso de nuestros pecados,<br />
para que podamos mantenernos firmes en tu amor: sálvanos del orgullo que aún nos hace<br />
caer y enséñanos la humildad de inclinarme siempre sobre ti.<br />
Que vive y reina por los siglos de los siglos.<br />
