CPR: BLS for Healthcare<br />
Providers<br />
BLS for Healthcare Providers is for<br />
healthcare professionals who need<br />
to perform CPR and other lifesaving<br />
skills in and out of medical settings.<br />
EMS, CNA, Dental Assistant, and<br />
Pharmacy Technology students<br />
must take BLS for Healthcare<br />
Provider.<br />

CPR Heartsaver AED<br />
Basic CPR (cardiopulmonary<br />
resuscitation) for the person with<br />
limited or no medical training, this<br />
course covers Adult CPR and AED.<br />
Optional modules are available in<br />
child CPR/AED use and infant CPR,<br />
including child and infant choking,<br />
as requested. Phlebotomy students<br />
must take this course.<br />

First Aid AED<br />
Do you need training in first aid,<br />
CPR, and AED use to meet job,<br />
regulatory or other requirements? If<br />
so, this is the course for you. You<br />
will learn basic first aid, medical/<br />
injury/environmental emergencies,<br />
adult CPR and AED use. Optional<br />
modules are available in child<br />
CPR/AED use and infant CPR, as<br />
requested.<br />

EMT<br />
(Emergency Medical Technician)<br />
Online/On Campus<br />
In this combination online and in<br />
person class, acquire the skills<br />
to provide quick response and<br />
mid-level emergency medical<br />
and trauma care to the sick or<br />
injured in the pre-hospital setting.<br />
This course meets Idaho and<br />
NREMT standards for obtaining<br />
an EMT license. Upon successful<br />
completion of this course, students<br />
must pass state and national written<br />
and practical exams. High school<br />
diploma or equivalent required.<br />
Basic computer skills and highspeed<br />
internet access are required.<br />
Exam fees are not included in<br />
course costs.<br />
