Fun, hands-on activities in S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) will keep your budding scientist or engineer engaged over the summer. Noggin Builders campers explore through hands-on, real-world projects. STEM activities are a natural and fun way to build these skills. Noggin Builders Summer Camp offers flexible schedule options to meet the needs of your summer. Because each week’s theme and activities are different, you can sign up for the weeks that fit your child’s schedule. Early and late options are also available. Campers in grades K-3 enjoy each camp day beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at noon. Each day is filled with fun, hands-on activities in STEM. Your child will experiment, build, and create through explorations based on the theme of the week. Fun team building activities, cooking and crafts are also part of each week. Boom, Pop, Splat!, It’s Electric, Go Green Science and Time Machine are some of our themes for 2018. Campers in grades 4-7 will build creative problem-solving skills through open-ended design projects and experiments during their full-day camp, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Each week includes a field trip incorporated into the STEM theme and fun team building activities, as well. Crazy About Coding, Cool Chemistry, Gadget Design, and Sensational Circuits are some of the themes for this year. Pre-K campers have fun with science, crafts and games specifically designed for 3-5 year olds. Getting messy with elephant toothpaste, powering vehicles with magnets or exploring light and rainbows are just some of the exciting hands-on projects for this summer.
