The success that we have to date is<br />
because of the shared vision amongst not<br />
only those who have worked to develop<br />
the new program but the community it<br />
supports as well. We’ve taken the time<br />
to invest in our core French teachers<br />
through re-education and training and<br />
as a result we’ve seen exponential<br />
growth in the program – our students<br />
are more engaged and our teachers<br />
are empowered; they recognize the<br />
important role they play in preparing<br />
students for success in the real-world.<br />

If you could wave a magic<br />
wand and bring one<br />
improvement to the core/<br />
intensive French program,<br />
what would that be?<br />
We must continue to engage parents,<br />
principals and the broader community.<br />
Ultimately the success of this program, and<br />
others like it, is dependent on everyone<br />
committing to, believing in and promoting<br />
a shared belief in its value and the amazing<br />
benefits that can be had as a result of<br />
