Welcome Thank you for your interest in the post of Headteacher at Leamington Primary Academy, part of the Flying High Partnership. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of wonderful children and staff. At Leamington Primary Academy our motto is, ‘Relentless in our strive for excellence’ as we aim to become the best school in the universe. We aim to recruit a Headteacher that can support us to realise this ambition, working alongside a fantastic team and a supportive partnership. After a period of significant change, leading to Leamington Primary Academy joining the Flying High Partnership in January 2017, the school has been on a rapid journey of improvement. Through the guidance of an interim Executive Headteacher, the support of the highly successful Flying High Academy Ladybrook and the support of the wider Flying High Partnership the school has in place all the foundations to be highly successful. We have no doubt that with the right Headteacher this school can deliver fantastic outcomes and experiences for all children and provide significant support to families and the wider community. Our NOR has now reached 420 with numbers rising steadily as the reputation of the school has improved and demand has increased. The school moved into a brand new build in September 2016. This new building is blessed with fantastic resources and facilities for all children. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the school and you will soon discover the pride and care that staff and children give to their wonderful learning environments. We seek an ambitious Headteacher who shares our values and ambitions, and who has the vision, drive, resilience and experience to build on our success to date and continue our journey to deliver outstanding learning experiences to all children. The successful candidate will need to be outward facing to establish a strong relationship with parents and the local community and have the ability to share and learn from best practice whilst knowing how to exploit the partnership opportunities we have within the MAT. As part of a MAT and teaching school this opportunity provides the chance for significant development and the opportunity for continued career progression.
