After School Nature Explorers Club<br />
Nature Explorers Club is designed for school-age children (ages 6-10,<br />
K-5 th ) who are interested in investigating the natural world. Each month<br />
we will explore a different ecology topic, focusing on our own native<br />
plants and animals. We will make a craft to take home, go on a nature<br />
hike, dip-net for fish and tadpoles in the ponds and get to know the plants<br />
and animals of the Bayou City! Fee/reservations are required. Reserve<br />

7,500 fans and supporters, Hope For Three, County Judge Bob Hebert, all 18<br />
City Mayors, 300 volunteers and the Sugar Land Skeeters, host over 400 family<br />
members from the autism community to a day full of friendship and baseball.<br />

Volunteers “buddy” up with a child prior to the game for play time on the field<br />
or in the playground area. During this time, parents and caregivers enjoy a<br />
social hour in the company of other adults at the Bud Light Pavilion; a rare<br />
occasion for many, a first-time opportunity for most<br />
A 2-hour buffet with complimentary lunch and soft drinks await the hosted<br />
families in the picnic area 700 volunteers and family members march around<br />
the field for an Autism Awareness Parade before Judge Hebert and City<br />
Mayors join on field to read a Proclamation of support recognizing <strong>April</strong> as<br />
Autism Awareness Month Then, it’s PLAY BALL!<br />
Sponsors, Mayors and other VIPs enjoy the game from hosted suites, while<br />
volunteers and families cheer on the home team! Numerous volunteer,<br />

WILD WEST BREWFEST<br />
May 5 th<br />
The Wild West Brewfest is gearing up for its 7 th year! Over $600,000 raised<br />
for charities in the past 6 years. Tickets on sale now! Held on May 5 th<br />
at Katy Mills Mall (5000 Katy Mills Circle) The Wild West Brewfest is the<br />
only one of its kind in Katy! This event will feature 150+ Specialty Craft<br />
Brewers from various locations all around the country while featuring<br />
over 600 individualized craft brews!<br />
VIP ticket holders get in one hour early (2 PM) to enjoy the wonderful<br />
liquid that will be offered on property while general Admission opens at<br />
3 PM - event ends at 9 PM. The event will feature many zones that will be<br />
of particular interest to the patron. Multiple Beer Gardens, Game zones,<br />
music throughout the event, several food trucks and much more, not to<br />
mention over 600 different varieties of beer!<br />
Patrons can enjoy discounted tickets at local hotels along with free<br />
transportation to and from the event. Staying true to its roots, the Wild<br />
West Brewfest is defiantly one of a kind by giving away 100% of its<br />
net profits to local charities. All proceeds will help support Katy area<br />
