Bangor Church of the Nazarene to Host<br />
Grief Share Group<br />
The Bangor Church of the Nazarene is hosting a Grief Share Group, to<br />
help offer encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family<br />
member of friend. The group will be held on Mondays, beginning April<br />
2nd from 7:00-9:00 pm, The community is welcome to attend the Grief<br />
Share group at any point.<br />
Each session is "self-contained" you do not have to attend in<br />
sequence. Participants will be able to pick up any sessions missed in<br />
the next 13-week cycle. Each week provides opportunity to view a<br />
video-seminar hosted by experts in the field of the grief-journey,<br />
sharing with others on this same path and a workbook to take home <strong>for</strong><br />
reflection during the week.<br />

Where: Jacobsburg Visitor Center, 400 Belfast Road, Nazareth<br />
Borrow a backpack full of kid-friendly tools to explore Jacobsburg! These<br />
backpacks are best <strong>for</strong> families with young children. Each backpack<br />
includes binoculars, notepad, colored pencils, magnifying lens, bug box,<br />
dip net, and five field guides <strong>for</strong> exploring the pond, insects, birds, trees,<br />

Borrow fishing poles and tackle to use in Jacobsburg’s creeks! To borrow<br />
equipment, you must provide a driver’s license or other <strong>for</strong>m of state issued<br />
identification. Persons age 16 and older must possess a current fishing<br />
license to fish. Adults can help children under 16 fish without a license.<br />

Signs of Spring - Saturday, March 24, 3:30-5:30 PM<br />
Looking <strong>for</strong> a way to beat the winter doldrums? Join us as we search <strong>for</strong><br />
wildflowers, new plant growth, migrating birds and other signs of spring.<br />
Be prepared <strong>for</strong> a moderate hike that may involve muddy slopes and<br />
uphill climbs. Please bring binoculars, a camera, water and a snack, and<br />
wear sturdy shoes. We will meet at the Sobers Run parking lot near the<br />
intersection of Belfast Road and Keller Road. Registration is required.<br />
Celestial Wildlife - Saturday, March 24, 8:00-9:30 PM<br />
Did you know that the night sky is filled with all sorts of wildlife? Join us<br />
<strong>for</strong> this nighttime adventure as we use our imagination and search the sky<br />
<strong>for</strong> bears, lions, dogs, bulls and even dragons! Please dress warmly and<br />
wear sturdy shoes. Bring a blanket to sit on, a flashlight, snack, water and<br />
binoculars if you have them. Registration is required.<br />
Family Night: Frog Slog! - Friday, March 30, 7:00-9:00 PM<br />
Join herp expert Andy Curtis as we explore woodland ponds in search<br />
of amphibian wonders. Please dress <strong>for</strong> the weather, wear waterproof<br />
footwear, and bring a flashlight. Space limited to 30 participants.<br />
Registration is required.<br />
