Monroe Animal League Meeting
The monthly meeting of the Monroe Animal League will be on
Tuesday, April 24th at 7:00pm at the Eastern Monroe County Library,
Rt. 611/N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg.
MAL promotes spay/neuter and humane education as a way to control
pet overpopulation, and thus relieves cruelty and suffering among
animals. We believe this to be the best way to achieve a future with no
more homeless animals.
All Monroe County animal lovers are encouraged to attend. BRING A
FRIEND! MAL needs your help to grow! The larger our membership, the
easier for us to accomplish our mission. Please ask your friends and
family to join you as a MAL member. Thanks!

Pet Palooza
Hosted by Forks Township Parks and Recreation
Bring your dog and come to Pet Palooza, Saturday, May 12th,
10:00am-3:00pm hosted by Forks Township Parks and Recreation. Pet
Palooza is a day for you to spoil your pets!
The event will have vendors from surrounding pet stores, veterinarians,
and adoption centers. If you do not have a pet, you may find your
companion here. The event will be held at the amphitheater in Forks
Community Park, 500 Zucksville Rd., Easton, PA. Free tennis balls will be
given to the first 100 dogs provided by CHAAR. Donations of pet food/
toys will be accepted at the event and will be donated to local shelters.

National Puppy Day
National Puppy day is observed each year on March
23rd. This day was created to celebrate the magic
and unconditional love that puppies bring to our lives.
National Puppy Day is also a day to bring awareness to
the need for care of and homes for orphaned pups as
well as to educate people about the horrors of puppy
mills across the country.

a stray, shelter staff was hopeful when we discovered she had
a registered microchip. But that hope slowly faded away when
her owner never responded to repeated calls and messages. No
matter, we promised sweet Madre we would find her a truly loving
family who will keep her forever. Could that be you? Sweet but
shy, Madre seems to like other cats, but on her own terms. Madre
needs a family willing to give her the time and patience she needs
to come out of her shell and
