on area in English and French to record basic informa on. Each bag and tear
off receipt has a unique iden fier number/barcode.
The new secure closure prevents any tampering with a Level 4 Tamper Evident
Tape closure.
The word “VOID” will be visible if someone a empts to pull the closed bag
apart under normal temperatures. If subjected to extreme cold temps or the
use of Freon to open the bag, the word “VOID” will also be evident.
If subjected to the use of solvents or water to open the bag, the word
“Tamper Evident” will appear. If subjected to extreme heat to open the bag,
the word “VOID” in red will appear.

tape. This interna onal

BIOHAZARD Seals
Evidence which contains body fluid stains,
ssue or skin, toxic chemicals or other contaminants
must be properly marked for thesafety
of all personnel who might have to
handle it. The crime scene technician, the
property technician, the crime lab technician or criminalist, the inves
gator and the court personnel must all be aware of the hazards
of the various pieces of evidence with which they may come into
contact. Here are two different labels to assist in that purpose.
There should be no surprises when handling evidence, therefore, it
is impera ve that everything is marked with the proper warnings.

Shake-N-Cast Impression Kit
This kit features a self-contained, pre-measured water capsule and
dental stone* cas ng material packaged in a single, heavy-duty
plas c pouch. This incredibly simple-to-use kit eliminates all the
mess and guess-work inherent
with many other cas ng mediums. With Shake-N-Cast, the mixture
is always the right consistency. The Shake-N-Cast kit contains
2 lbs. (32 oz.) of dental stone and 14 fluid oz. of liquefier, factorysealed
in a tough plas c pouch. One kit is sufficient for cas ng a full
-sized, adult shoe print. Simply apply pressure to break the water
capsule, shake and knead the container for up to two minutes, cut
off a corner of the pouch and pour it into the impression. When
working in loose, dry soil or sand, we recommend preparing the
impression with Dust and Dirt Hardener.

impression with accurate recording of all relevant details in the evidence. The MikroTrack impression can
be stored and will not dry. Once photographed, just mould it back together and it’s ready to use again.

SNOW PRINT POWDER
Snow impressions at the crime scene normally contain more informa on that can be recovered
through conven onal photography. The wet and transparent snow will absorb the
light when taking a picture. The result will be an impression with insufficient contrast and
without any valuable details. The SNOW PRINT POWDER can help you with these problems.
The surface of the impression can easily be brushed with the powder using a so
brush. The powder will change the surface of the impression, thereby allowing it to be
photographed with much be er contrast, recovering valuable details. This technique
works best on wet mel ng snow but also on cold frozen snow.
