Connect To Work Experience (WEX)*<br />
Program Description: WEX provides customized work experience<br />
opportunities to job seekers referred by their Aligned Parter Network<br />
Career Coach. A work experience is a paid internship of 240 hours where<br />
SE Works acts as the employer of record.<br />
Aligned partner/case manager referral required.<br />
Connect To Work*<br />
Program Description: Provides short term job placement assistance for<br />
job seekers with a prior criminal background. Customers are enrolled<br />
based on ability to follow through on program expectations. Once<br />
employed, customers are provided 90 days of job retention services.<br />
Customers are strongly encouraged to start attending Discover Your<br />
Road to Success Workshop while waiting for their Connect to Work<br />
Orientation.<br />
Dahl Youth Education Center (GED)<br />
Program Description: Provides academic and career development<br />
services for youth aged 16 – 21.<br />
Students can study to take the GED, recover credit, earn original credit<br />
and prepare for transition to post-secondary education and/or career<br />
training. Not an appropriate referral for high school graduates.<br />
Experience Works<br />
PROGRAMS<br />
Program Description: Provides coaching and paid training to job<br />
seekers that are 55 years of age and over. Job seekers must meet<br />
specific income requirements. Priority services to Veterans, homeless<br />
(or at risk of becoming homeless), disabled, low literacy, and non-native<br />
English speakers.<br />
