Pre-Release Exit Program<br />
Washington County*<br />
Program Description: A pre and post release program located in<br />
the Washington County Jail focused on serving inmates who need<br />
individualized employment services 20-45 days prior to release &<br />
continue to provide post-release employment placement, credential<br />
attainment, referral and navigation through the WorkSource system, as<br />
well as follow up services.<br />
Must be an inmate of Washington County Jail and referred by<br />
Washington County Jail staff.<br />
Prisoner Reentry Employment<br />
Program (PREP)<br />
Program Description: Provides case management and career coaching<br />
to individuals who have prior criminal backgrounds so they can become<br />
employed.<br />
Assists customers in identifying and obtaining career track<br />
employment, as well as resources. Must live in Portland to qualify.<br />
Professional Immigrant Certification<br />
Program<br />
Program Description: This program is for immigrants or refugees with<br />
professional degrees or certificates from their country of origin seeking<br />
employment within their degree field.<br />
To qualify customers must: Live in Portland and have a professional<br />
degree/certificate from their country of origin.<br />
