Signs of Spring All<br />
Around The <strong>Network</strong><br />

<strong>April</strong> showers, and all that. Spring is in the air, and<br />
golf tournaments on the near horizon!<br />
Even before tee-off time, our affiliate associations have<br />
some strong luncheon programs in the month of <strong>April</strong>.<br />
<strong>East</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> <strong>Claims</strong> <strong>Association</strong> kicks things off with<br />
returning guest speaker, the popular Vinh Pham, of<br />
Envirocheck. Mr. Pham will be discussing Asbestos<br />
Contamination Assessments at the <strong>April</strong> 11th EBCA luncheon meeting, at Zio<br />
Fraedo’s in Pleasant Hill. He is an entertaining speaker with an enlightened<br />

EBCA also just announced their 17th annual Golf Tournament, to be held Friday,<br />
July 27, <strong>2018</strong>. It’s an ‘80s Theme, back at Eagle Vines Golf Club in Napa<br />
Sacramento <strong>Claims</strong> is hosting their first regular luncheon meeting for <strong>2018</strong>,<br />
Thursday, <strong>April</strong> 12th. Special guest speaker is Mr. Peter Meza, from the<br />
California Department of Insurance. Mr. Meza plans to address some of<br />
the Inner-workings of property claims at the CDI, plus introduction to the<br />
recently passed Insurance Diversity Initiative. Secure your spot right away<br />

SCA is holding their annual Golf Tournament Friday, May 11th. “Kentucky<br />
Derby” is the theme this year, being held again at Turkey Creek Golf Course<br />
in Lincoln.<br />
And, finally, the Mid-Valley <strong>Claims</strong> <strong>Association</strong> is holding their next luncheon<br />
meeting Friday, <strong>April</strong> 20, <strong>2018</strong>. MVCA is very pleased to welcome<br />
perennial favorite guest speaker, Mr. Ulises Castellon, CPCU, RPA, of Fire<br />
Cause Analysis. Mr. Castellon will be presenting a one-hour certified CE<br />
Course on “Ethics for the <strong>Claims</strong> Professional”. This is one not to miss, as<br />
