The City Council consists of seven members, including an elected mayor and six council members. Elected officials hold four-year terms with staggered elections held every two years. A professional City Manager is hired by the City Council; the City Manager is responsible for the management of the organization and works with a professional and experienced staff to carry out the day-to-day operations of the City.
