What is one essential you must have when<br />
studying?<br />
I need my notebook, because the notes I<br />
take always help me on my test.<br />
What do you like to do when not in school or<br />
studying?<br />
When I’m not at school or studying, I like<br />
to play with friends, play video games, or<br />
play sports.<br />
What is your dream job?<br />
My dream job is to be a soccer player,<br />
basketball player or baseball player, because<br />
those are the sports that I play.<br />
What is one thing people don’t know about<br />
you?<br />
One thing people don’t know about me<br />
is for Christmas I got a remote-controlled<br />
skateboard.<br />
Whom do you look up to and why?<br />

My favorite class is social studies, because<br />
I know a lot about it, because my dad is a<br />

it would be to have basketball hoops in the<br />

My best memory from school is Field<br />
Days, where we get to play all types of sports<br />

Orland Parker travels with<br />
group to Nashville<br />
Emily Kaderabek, of Orland<br />
Park, was among a<br />
group of Marian Catholic<br />
choir members who traveled<br />
to Nashville,Tennessee April<br />
4-7 during spring break.<br />
In addition to performing<br />
at several venues, the<br />
students worked with a<br />
Nashville songwriter at the<br />
Country Music Hall of Fame<br />
to compose their own lyrics,<br />
recorded a CD with a professional<br />
sound engineer at<br />
RCA Studio B, participated<br />
in a master class with at<br />
Vanderbilt University’s Blair<br />
School of Music, toured the<br />
Musicians Hall of Fame, and<br />
visited the Grand Ole Opry.<br />

The University of Alabama<br />
honored its top students<br />
for their academic<br />
achievements and leadership<br />
April 6 during the Honors<br />
Day Tapping Ceremony, the<br />
highlight of UA’s annual<br />
Honors Week, April 2-6.<br />
Mortar Board, a national<br />
honor society for men and<br />
women, is based on leadership,<br />
scholarship and service.<br />
It is one of the highest<br />
honors that can be granted to<br />
seniors. Members must display<br />
outstanding dedication<br />
to service and leadership.<br />
Among the recent inductees<br />
of the Motor Board was<br />
Madeline Hirschfield, of Orland<br />
Park.<br />
