THE TITMOUSE CLUB<br />

The Titmouse Club is a nature program for children ages 2 ½ to 5<br />

sponsored by the Houston Audubon Docent Guild. The program<br />

is offered every Tuesday and Wednesday morning, 10 to 11 AM,<br />

from mid-September until mid-<strong>May</strong> at the Edith L. Moore Nature<br />

Sanctuary, 440 Wilchester Boulevard. Each week features a different<br />

nature theme and may include nature talks, stories, hands-on<br />

activities and walks in the woods. For more information, go to www.<br />

houstonaudubon.org and look under Audubon Docents. The cost is<br />

$5 per child per session or a 5-session card can be purchased for $20.<br />

The child must be accompanied by an adult during the program.<br />

AFTER SCHOOL NATURE EXPLORERS CLUB<br />

Nature Explorers Club is designed for school-age children (ages<br />

6-10, K-5 th ) who are interested in investigating the natural world.<br />

Each month we will explore a different ecology topic, focusing on<br />

our own native plants and animals. We will make a craft to take<br />

home, go on a nature hike, dip-net for fish and tadpoles in the<br />

ponds and get to know the plants and animals of the Bayou City!<br />

Fee/reservations are required. Reserve your child’s spot at www.<br />
