Buffalo Bayou will be overflowing with people<br />

and boats at the Annual Houston Dragon Boat<br />

of downtown Houston with other festivities<br />

celebrating Asian and Asian-American culture.<br />

<strong>May</strong> 5 th -6 th - The 23 rd Annual Keels & Wheels<br />

Concours d’Elegance, benefiting The Boys &<br />

Girls Harbor, is scheduled for Saturday and<br />

Sunday, <strong>May</strong> 5-6, <strong>2018</strong>. The weekend-long,<br />

nationally acclaimed classic car and vintage<br />

wooden boat show takes place each spring at<br />

the Lakewood Yacht Club in beautiful Seabrook,<br />

TX and attracts more than 15,000 attendees.<br />

The car and boat exhibitors come from every<br />

part of the United States, as do the spectators.<br />

Potential sponsors can choose from six<br />

different support levels ranging from $1,000<br />

to $50,000 and include bronze, silver, gold,<br />

over 20 years, the Houston Greek Fest has<br />

June 2nd - Vegandale is proud to take our utopia<br />

on the road, hosting Vegandale Food Drink<br />

Festival in four cities for <strong>2018</strong>. At these festivals,<br />

June 2nd -This summer, Galveston will host a<br />

free, family friendly event series to help beachgoers<br />

create spectacular sandcastles with tips<br />

from the pros. Visitors to Stewart Beach can participate<br />

in “Sandcastle Days” events to receive<br />

free sandcastle building lessons from a professional<br />

sandcastle builder. The events will take<br />

place each Saturday this summer from June<br />

2nd thru August 18th. Each event will begin with<br />

an instructor building a sandcastle from 8-11<br />

AM followed by lessons at 11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM.<br />

Equipment will be provided on a limited basis<br />

and participants are encouraged to bring their<br />

own sand buckets and shovels. Registration is<br />

not required. The lessons will take place on the<br />

sand near the Stewart Beach Pavilion. Stewart<br />

Beach is located at 201 Seawall Blvd. It is home<br />

to helicopter tours, a pavilion, volleyball courts,<br />

a children’s playground, restrooms, showers,<br />

chair and umbrella rentals and concessions.<br />

Festival. The third annual Galveston Cajun<br />

Festival, which is set for Father’s Day weekend,<br />

June 15th-17th, will celebrate the best of Texasand<br />

Louisiana-styled food, family fun and live<br />

entertainment - island style! The grand event<br />

will be held on the beautiful grounds of Beach<br />

Central Park at the Hotel Galvez, 2102 Seawall.<br />

AM to 11 PM June 16th and 11 AM to 5 PM June<br />

June 23rd - Houston LGBT Pride Celebration.<br />

Hundreds of thousands of spectators are expected<br />

to attend the <strong>2018</strong> Houston LGBT Pride<br />

Celebration® on June 23rd! Last year, one of<br />

the oldest and largest pride events in the South<br />

moved to Downtown Houston with the theme<br />

Heroes. This year promises to be another mega<br />

event! The day of festivities kicks off with the<br />

Pride Festival from 12 PM to 7 PM at Hermann<br />

Square in front of City Hall. The parade follows<br />

at 8:30 PM along a route through the western<br />
