“Delilah arrived here
over two years ago, aged
six years when her owner
was placed in a nursing
home that refused
to allow them to stay
together,” World League
For The Protection Of
Animals President Halina
Thompson said.
“Delilah lived inside in
a small flat and would
loe to find a new owner
ready to care for her.”

dozens of cats and kittens
await loving homes.
With the onset of winter,
the World League
hopes compassionate
locals can spare
old blankets and winter
warmers for the cats as
well as make a fully tax
deductable donation.
“We were registered as
a campaign and rescue
animal charity in 1937
and has been occupying
one of suites here on the
st floor on the corner
of Cowell and Vic. Rd.,
Gladesville since 1987,”
Halina Thompson said.
“We are your local
‘No Kill’ and volunteer
based, self funded organisation
which over
the last 80 years has
worked successfully on
many different animal issues
relating to farm animals,
wildlife and companion
animals.
“Currently we are focusing
on helping the
community with lost or
abandoned cats and kittens.
“Once we rescue an
animal, we then appeal
for foster carers to take
in rescued cats and kittens
and once the pets
are micro chipped, vaccinated
and desexed, we
seek permanent loving
safe homes for them.”
