Ryde’s ANZAC Day Service at Anzac Park<br />
City of Ryde Anzac Day Commemoration Service was held in appropriately named Anzac Park, Anzac Avenue West Ryde commencing at 9am with<br />
refreshments to follow in nearby Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club auditorium. Bennelong MP John Alexander OAM gave the opening address, pictured<br />
ABOVE. Jack Foster Epping Boys High School captain gave the Commemorative Student Address, RIGHT. Anzac Requiem was recited by school<br />
students BELOW LEFT from Northcross Christian School, St Michael’s Catholic Primary, Meadowbank Public, Epping Boys High, Holy Cross College,<br />
Eastwood Public and Marsden High School followed by wreath laying. <strong>TWT</strong> on-the-spot PHOTOS.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Last Post and Reveille was played by Philip Ward of East Ryde Scouts and <strong>The</strong> Ode was recited by master of ceremonies Don Bailey, pictured below left with Ryde <strong>May</strong>or Clr Jerome Laxale.<br />
Refreshments were served in Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club auditorium where “<strong>The</strong> Telegram Man” was screened directed and produced by local resident James Francis Khehtie who is pictured,<br />
