CVRep has announced it will continue
entertaining Coachella Valley residents
and visitors each and every week this
summer with an extraordinary lineup
of live entertainment including: two
solo-performance plays, a series of
dynamic cabaret performances, a jazz
series presented in association with
Bill Saitta, a dance performance, and
a classical music series, in addition
to the annual Tales From the Twilight
Café, a group of original works from
the CVRep Writers’ Group. Look below

AN EVENING OF CLASSICAL MU-

Michael Noble has developed an
international reputation as an astonishing
pianist. A prize winner of
numerous competitions, including the
Grand Prize at the Carmel Music Society
Competition, Gold Medal at the
Crescendo Music Awards (Tulsa, OK),
and laureate of the Chopin International
Competition of the 1000 Islands.
Highlights of the current season include
performances with the Monterey
Symphony, at Spectrum in Brooklyn
as part of Rzewski’s 80 th birthday
celebration and solo performances
in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Poland,
Thailand and the United States.

MARSHALL HAWKINS

Marshall Hawkins is a legendary
musician who played with jazz greats
like Miles Davis and also performed
classical music with the National Sym-
phony Orchestra. A multi-instrumentalist,
he established the Jazz Studies
Program at the Idyllwild Arts Academy
and is co-founder and music director
of Idyllwild Jazz in the Pines. Hawkins
is a member of the MSJC Foundation
board.

SCOTT DRIER has been performing
his critically acclaimed one-man show
"Doris and Me" since 2011.
He workshopped the very first performance
of that show at CVRep and
he is thrilled to be back with his new
show,The Doris Day Project: The Music
of Doris Day." Scott is coming
to CVRep directly from performing
for Doris Day’s 96th Birthday Celebration
benefiting the Doris Day Animal
Foundation in Carmel, California
(where Doris Day lives today). This
was his 3rd time performing for Doris’s
birthday celebration.
CVRep Conservatory Writers Group
presents an evening of Staged Readings
of their Original Works
TALES FROM THE TWILIGHT CAFÉ
