The Pre-School at Temple Emanuel & Tot Programming
“P” is a very popular letter in Pre-school. It also often causes a lot of giggling
when children are asked what words start with “p.” Besides “potty talk,”
our children will be participating in two fabulous celebrations this March …
Purim and Passover.
Our Pre-school Purim Extravaganza is a highlight of the year. Our little ones
dress in Purim costumes, and the clergy tell the Purim story with puppets and
song. There will be a special Pre-school section at the Purim carnival this year.
The children also enjoy making hamantaschen and shalach manot baskets as we share this
special holiday with our families.
Pharaoh, pyramids and plagues are just a few of the “p”s the children will explore as they
experience Passover in many different ways. In addition to creating Seder-worthy arts and
crafts, the children will take part in a hands-on Passover program. This activity allows the
children to feel as though they are part of the biblical story. Will there be live frogs? One
never knows!

Join us at an upcoming Tot Shabbat!
This lively and interactive service geared
for children 5 & under is held typically
twice a month at 6:00 pm.
We encourage families with young children to
attend, sing, dance & share Shabbat together.
