AN EVENING WITH MPYO<br />

This performance marks the end of both the 2017/<strong>2018</strong><br />

season at Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO)<br />

and the end of the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth<br />

Orchestra’s (MPYO) tenth anniversary celebrations.<br />

Themed Rhapsody of Emotion, the concert will include<br />

Haydn’s ‘Symphony No. 104’ alongside other classical<br />

greats, and will be led by MPO’s Resident Conductor<br />

Naohisa Furusawa. As the culmination of the two<br />

major events, expect a great night of symphonic music<br />

presented by the country’s top orchestral musicians.<br />

CAVE OF THE HEART<br />

This photography exhibition by A. Prathap<br />

– Special Photographer with Times of India –<br />

showcases the elegant poses of iconic Malaysian<br />

odissi dancer Padma Shri Datuk Ramli Ibrahim<br />

among the majestic beauty of Ellora, one of the<br />

largest rock-cut monastery-temple cave complexes<br />

in the world. The exhibition seeks to explore the<br />

inner landscape of the human psyche, where<br />

the Dance of Life resides. Prathap has over 15<br />

years’ experience behind the camera, and has<br />

photographed numerous international events,<br />

personalities and more.<br />

ARCHIDEX <strong>2018</strong><br />

The annual International Architecture, Interior Design<br />

& Building Exhibition Malaysia <strong>2018</strong> (ARCHIDEX) is<br />

back again at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Since<br />

its inception in 2000, the region’s leading architectural<br />

business event has seen the gathering of architects,<br />

engineers, developers, interior designers, urban planners,<br />

academics and more coming together to showcase and<br />

discuss the future of the industry. The integrated platform<br />

includes various happenings like conferences, forums,<br />

related industry business events and more, and this year<br />

there will be over 500 companies from more than 14<br />
