Rising in your every evening,
my ascent is a perennial adventure
across your pin pricked blanket of stars,
through your glitter sprinkled darkness
I bear myself to you,
burgeoning and dwindling,
with tenacious resilience,
always showing my light and shaded speckles
with congruence and knowing.
A knowing that speaks to your senses
with aphotic depth that you cannot unsee,
knowing it is perpetually never unpresent.
That shadow is seemingly foreboding
though its necessity gives balance to make us complete
as I draw you in, like tides pulled across stormy seas,
pulled and anchored.
I choreograph those calm, deep ocean waves
to build and intensify, building to a grand
orchestral symphony of white horse capped chariots!
Before subsiding once again
to lap against your fine, sandy shores
as I take my leave
At least for another night.
