How to process to inner peace<br />

Inner peace can be elusive and hard to find. So many things make a person feel<br />

uncomfortable with their body and mind. There is always that one person who<br />

feels the need to bring everyone down. What you need is the inner strength to<br />

not care. That’s a challenge, isn’t it? No matter how much we say we don’t care,<br />

we still do.<br />

So how to do you find inner peace?<br />

Here is one thing you can do: you can do a self-id activity.<br />

First, grab a pen and paper and make two columns. In one column, write<br />

everything that you like about yourself, and then, in the other column, everything<br />

that you want to work on yourself.<br />

Usually, when it comes to the things that you like it’s about personality and the<br />

things you hate is your appearance. You should try to mix up the things that you<br />

like and dislike so that you don’t get one type of aspect. We are harder on our<br />

physical looks because that’s what others see. They judge because of their own<br />

insecurity, so you keep that in mind with any comment you hear, rather than<br />

taking it to heart.<br />

Sometimes it is a good idea to sit with a group of three or more people who know<br />

and like one another, and take turns sharing the good things you see in one<br />

another. The list of things you want to change, on your own, is usually longer<br />

than any list we can make on our own about what we like and admire about<br />

ourselves. We can be really hard on ourselves!<br />

Now that you have your list, pick three things that you dislike that you wish you<br />

could change. Then you can work out a plan to change things. You don’t have to<br />

change things dramatically. For instance, if you dislike your weight, take a walk. If<br />

you take a walk every day, you’ll find that you’ll feel a bit better about yourself.<br />

The second part of finding inner peace is acccepting who you are. There is nothing<br />

wrong with anything about your body or personality. Basically, you are who you<br />
