at Central High School! Isn’t it a
small world? When we arrived at
Larry’s apartment, out of habit, Scott
addressed him as “Sir!” Soon they
were “Larry and Scott!”
Once a student, always a student.
Because of my three rambunctious
puppies, I had limited physical
therapy opportunities at home, so
I decided to buy a three-wheel bike
(OK, a trike) to give me a chance to
strengthen my legs as I ride around
my neighborhood. Linda’s hilarious
husband Nic even assembled it for
me! The trike, light grey in color,
has been dubbed “Silver”, and I’m
frequently heard belting out “Hi Yo
My brother, Larry Lawrence
Silver, Away” as I peddle around my
neighborhood. Witnesses have been
heard to ask “Who is that old fool?”
To that Ravin replies “He’s not
so old!”
I’m giving myself a one-month
goal of being on my feet again sans
my cane!
I must say, if and when you need
a caregiver in your life, I hope you
find someone who truly CARES for
you personally, as these blessed folks
do for me! They are my cheering section
in my quest to walk once again!
And, if you’re lucky, as am I, you
might also find yourself “adopted”
into a new family… or two! MJ
