Two matches against Ipswich<br />
and a home win against a team<br />
that were to be promoted to<br />
the Premier League in Brighton<br />
sealed a trip to Premier League<br />
Burnley on the 18th February.<br />
The magic of The FA Cup struck<br />
once again when Sean Raggett’s<br />
89th minute winner sent the Imps<br />
further than a Non-League club<br />
had ever gone; the Quarter Finals.<br />
The Emirates Stadium was the<br />
next stop for the Imps and the<br />
Junior Imps members were given<br />
an allocation of 1000 tickets to<br />
see Danny Cowley’s side face<br />
Arsene Wenger’s.<br />
The day was a memorable one<br />
for all the Junior Imps, but was<br />
made especially memorable for<br />
Jude Jessop, our only member<br />
who had attended every Lincoln<br />
City match that season in the<br />
Family Stand. As a reward for<br />
his outstanding commitment and<br />
support he became Lincoln City’s<br />
mascot for the day, giving him<br />
a behind the scenes tour of the<br />
Emirates Stadium, an opportunity<br />
to meet both teams players and a<br />
chance to walk out with his team<br />
live on BT Sport.<br />
Focus then returned to the league<br />
campaign with Lincoln City top<br />
of the league going in to the run<br />
in with Tranmere Rovers and<br />
Forest Green Rovers hot on their<br />
trail. The Support from the Junior<br />
Imps was as magnificent as ever,<br />
with the Family Stand selling out<br />
for every game after the Arsenal<br />
Fixture. The Imps would go on to<br />
win the league after a tense 2-1<br />
Home Win against Macclesfield<br />
in front of a capacity crowd. The<br />
Junior Imps would be watching<br />
Lincoln City in the football league<br />
for the 2017/18 season.<br />
The 2017/18 season saw<br />
changes at Sincil Bank with<br />
the arrival of the pre match<br />
Family Fan Zone, an area<br />
where Junior Supporters<br />
can come before the game<br />
and take part in different<br />
activities that are on offer and win<br />
a range of Lincoln City FC prizes.<br />
Another first was our very<br />
successful Junior Takeover day<br />
where Junior Imps members were<br />
given the opportunity to apply<br />
for a matchday job at the club.<br />
Job roles ranged from First Team<br />
manager all the way to Poachers<br />
Assistant and the successful<br />
applicants came in for the day to<br />
work with their new mentors.<br />
The highest point of the season<br />
was Lincoln City’s trip to<br />
Wembley in the Checkatrade<br />
Trophy Final where thousands of<br />
Junior Imps walked up Wembley<br />

Whitehouse. Who would have<br />
thought on that warm summers<br />
night at Sincil Bank on the 9th<br />
August 2016 that 608 days later<br />
the Junior Imps would have had<br />
well over 2000 members and<br />
would be watching the Imps lift a<br />
cup at the world’s most<br />
famous stadium?<br />
The Junior Imps has so<br />
much to look forward to<br />
for the <strong>2018</strong>/19 season,<br />
we are moving to our<br />
own specific family stand,<br />
the second Junior Takeover<br />
Day, membership perks at<br />
local businesses, a Junior Imps<br />
Fan Council, more away trips,<br />
Christmas parties, matchday<br />
activities, birthday card from the<br />
team as well as much, much<br />
more.<br />
We look forward to welcoming<br />
you to Sincil Bank and cheering<br />
the Imps towards more success<br />
for the <strong>2018</strong>/19 season.<br />
