A summer get-together to bring everyone together!<br />

Everyone loves a good<br />

<strong>Summer</strong> Jamboree, so why not<br />

come and soak up the summer<br />

rays on the 11th August at<br />

Stokes Collection Café.<br />

This is a family friendly event<br />

and will be situated outside in<br />

Stokes Courtyard & Sculpture<br />

Pavilion outside the Usher<br />

Gallery; visitors can enjoy live<br />

music and pursue local art &<br />

craft stalls. This event is in aid<br />

of Lincoln PANDAS, (Pre and<br />

Post-Natal depression and<br />

anxiety support group). They<br />

are a newly formed support<br />

group for Lincoln and the<br />

group is run by volunteers. All<br />

monies raised from the event<br />

will be donated to them.<br />

“Lincoln PANDAS are<br />

delighted to be supported<br />

by this fantastic event. The<br />

money raised will enable<br />

us to provide much needed<br />

support to parent’s struggling<br />

with their mental health. We<br />

are passionate about raising<br />

awareness of mental health<br />

and helping families affecting<br />

by mental health and this event<br />

will help our support group<br />

flourish,” said Naomi Buffery,<br />

the coordinator for Lincoln<br />

PANDAS.<br />

This event’s aim is to raise<br />

awareness for mental health<br />

and support the message of<br />

#ItsOKNotToBeOK hashtag<br />

campaign which the group<br />

promotes.<br />

This event is a free entry but<br />

donations are welcome, with<br />

a mystery box raffle and open<br />

to the public from 11am-7pm<br />

and visitors can expect a feast<br />

of music, art and craft stalls as<br />

well as raffle, children’s craft<br />

activities, face painting and<br />

henna.<br />

The event is being hosted<br />

Stokes Collection Cafe will<br />

operate normal opening hours<br />

10am-4pm, with the evening<br />

bar and BBQ available in<br />

evening between 4-7pm.<br />

Visitors are welcome to visit The<br />

Collection and Usher Gallery<br />

are open to the public between<br />

10am-3.45pm.<br />
