Diamond Blade Fencing Club
Diamond Blade Fencing Club is offering fun and unique experiences for
children 5to12 years old who have little or no experience at all. Fencing is
a beautiful and elegant sport by the nature of it’s stance and movements.
It is also avery broad discipline as it teaches your MIND &BODY to work
together.
One learns to think and move fast. It challenges your reaction time
against your opponent so that you learn to make decisions very quickly.
The fencing techniques are taught and learned methodically, allowing a
fencer to develop agood memory as well as patience and perseverance.
Fencing is also awell-rounded sport that offers adiverse amount of
learning experiences that taps into the many aspects of a child’s growth
and development. The sport fosters team spirit as well as nurtures
individuality and self-reliance. It teaches self-discipline while reinforcing
mutual respect for each other.
In our camps, we introduce the students to the foundation, history, rules
& techniques in fencing. They are engaged in avariety of game-based
coordination drills as well as agility and strength exercises. We stress the
importance of playing fair and exhibiting sportsmanlike behaviour. Achild
learns invaluable life skills while engaging in fencing as asport!
