Enjoy a packed<br />

programme of free<br />

activities exploring kids’<br />

adventures at home,<br />

including craft and digital workshops, multi-sensory, hands-on<br />

activities and Nursery Rhyme Time sessions for young visitors.<br />

Special family-friendly tours of the restored <strong>18</strong>th century<br />

almshouse will also be on offer, giving arare glimpse into the lives<br />

of <strong>London</strong>’s poor and elderly in former times (adults £5, children<br />

As the museum is now closed until 2020 for the<br />

transformational Unlocking the Geffrye development, most of the<br />

activities will take place outside -either on the leafy front lawn or<br />

under a big canopy - so come prepared for the weather!<br />

Drinks and light refreshments will be available to buy or bring a<br />

picnic to eat on the lawn.<br />

Looking ahead to October, there will be free activities during<br />

half-term celebrating The Big Draw – check the website afew<br />

weeks before for full details.<br />
