<strong>LIT</strong> Rugby Club aims to provide all students with an opportunity to participate<br />
and play at all levels, while also catering for all levels and abilities. The<br />
2017/<strong>2018</strong> Academic year saw the introduction of both Men’s and Women’s 7’s<br />
and 10’s Teams with an emphasis on Participation rather than competition. A<br />
number of Tournaments were ran throughout the Academic year by the<br />
Munster Rugby Branch.<br />
<strong>LIT</strong> Rugby Club also has plans to develop Tag Rugby and Touch Rugby on<br />
Campus for the <strong>2018</strong>/2019 academic year which will allow students to develop<br />
their Skills in a Non-Contact Game.<br />
Over the last number of academic years, <strong>LIT</strong> Rugby club has qualified for the<br />
Colleges Semi-Finals.<br />
<strong>LIT</strong> Rugby Club Honours:<br />
1998, 1999, 2005, 2007 All Ireland Colleges Champions.<br />
