HAIR & BEAUTY
AUGUST 2018 | ISSUE #70
Here are our tops tips...
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER...
Ensure your water intake is a minimum of 2 litres per
day. Try adding a few lemon slices to your glass - it gives
a wonderfully fresh taste, a boost of vitamin C and the
additional nutrients help to enhance the healing process
too.
Avoid allowing your body to become dehydrated, not only
is it bad for your organs but it’s terrible for your skin too as
it can appear dull and dry enhancing any lumps and bumps.
Hydrated skin looks and feels soft, supple
and smooth, helping to iron out those
problem areas.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT FOODS...
We always recommend a healthy
balanced diet and there are some
foods that should be highlighted for
their fat fighting properties.
1. Grapefruit is known for its fat-burning ability, it can
help your skin appear smoother thanks to their vitamin C
content which can help build up and repair skin collagen —
perfect to fight against cellulite.
2. Buckwheat is a lesser-known grain and is a slow-burning,
easily digestible whole grain that is rich in B vitamins and
fiber. While you might focus on fiber this nutrient is also
incredibly important to fight against cellulite as it helps
push the toxins out of fat cells! Amazing!
3. Coriander / Cilantro - Fresh herbs like coriander
help remove heavy metals from the body often hidden
in fat cells. By reducing the level of toxins in your
body, you can help get rid of excess stored fat,
which can help lessen the appearance
of cellulite.
There are many more foods which will help you in your
fight against Cellulite these are just my top
three for their amazing properties.
DRY BRUSHING...
There are multiple benefits to dry brushing
including exfoliating dead skin, unclogging
pores, decongesting skin and it stimulates
your lymphatic system to help encourage
your body to expel toxins naturally.
Cellulite is essentially toxins that have
accumulated inside your body’s fat cells
unable to be eliminated from the
body.
Dry skin brushing helps to
break down any trapped toxins
to reduce cellulite.
You could also use a anti-cellulite
massager in a similar way targeting
those problem areas. It’s important to do
this regularly to really see true effects.
COFFEE SCRUBS...
If you thought that getting your caffeine hit
was the only perk of coffee I’m pleased to
tell you that actually the caffeine in coffee
scrubs helps stimulate blood flow which
is effective against eczema, acne, stretch
marks and CELLULITE!
Not only do the coffee grounds act as a
natural exfoliator to buff away dead and
dry skin improving the skin’s’ appearance
but the nutrients from the arabica coffee
bean increases the production of collagen
which keeps skin supple and is the same PH
as your skin meaning it won’t dry it out.
Give these try and bare those gorgeous
legs this summer!
