The Town of Rowley is seeking<br />
an Assistant Town Accountant<br />
to work in the Accounting<br />
Department. This position is<br />
responsible for accounting and<br />
computer data entry work in<br />
assisting the Town Accountant<br />
in the maintenance of detailed<br />
financial records and in the<br />
processing of bills and payroll.<br />
Position reports to the Town<br />
Accountant and acts in the<br />
absence of the Town Accountant.<br />
Position is part-time (<strong>18</strong> hours<br />
per week). There are no benefits<br />
provided with this position.<br />
Minimum of one year relevant<br />
experience and Bachelor’s<br />
Degree, or, High School diploma<br />
with additional relevant coursework<br />
and four years of relevant<br />
experience. Position is in the<br />
AFSCME bargaining unit. Grade<br />
7. Starting rate $22.02/hour with<br />
