In 2008 Harley-Davidson Motor Company<br />
celebrated its 105th Anniversary, as<br />
well as the 25th anniversary of Buell<br />
Motorcycle Co and Harley Owners Group ® .<br />
In 2007, the company shipped 337,000*<br />
motorcycles. Quite a change from its<br />
humble beginnings in 1903, when just<br />
three motorcycles were produced.<br />
So what makes us different?<br />
We’ve always been and always will<br />
be a company of enthusiasts, building<br />
motorcycles for enthusiasts. We still ride<br />
with our customers and dealers.<br />
From day one, when those first three<br />
motorcycles were hand crafted by William<br />
S. Harley and the Davidson brothers, we’ve<br />
always been dedicated to improvement<br />
and able to put our ever increasing<br />
experience to good use through our<br />
products and our organisation.<br />
