Walk into a Forest Bluff
School classroom on any

favorite poem, researching

ancient Egypt or collaborating
with classmates on
an original play about the
structure of a leaf. At Forest
Bluff School, an internationally

AMI-accredited Montessori
school in Lake Bluff,
students between the ages
of 18 months and 14 years
experience the joy and satisfaction
of a self-directed
learning approach that respects

Since its founding 35
years ago, Forest Bluff
School has adhered faithfully
to the educational
philosophy developed by
Dr. Maria Montessori. We

A Forest Bluff School

theatrical productions,

(ages 12-14) work trips,

their learning outside of
the classroom.

Every member of the
Forest Bluff School faculty
holds a master’s degree
in education and is AMI
Montessori certified. Our
experienced and dedicated
